CARE (Christian Action, Reseach and Education)
Born and bred in Holywood, County Down and a member of 1st Holywood Presbyterian church, Mark attended Sullivan Upper School in Holywood before going on to study Law with Politics at Queens University Belfast. After graduating, Mark then took part in the CARE Leadership Programme. Mark worked in the Office of the Leader of the Scottish Liberal Democrats, Willie Rennie MSP, in the Scottish Parliament for a year as part of the programme. Mark then joined the staff at CARE as a Public Policy Officer in September 2012.
CARE in Northern Ireland has an office in Templemore Avenue in East Belfast where he has been working since early 2013
CARE in Northern Ireland is taking a particular interest in the area of human trafficking, working closely with Lord Morrow MLA in the drafting of his human trafficking and exploitation bill which will be before the Northern Ireland Assembly in coming months.
