Bible Class, GLEEM and Creche

On Sundays there is Sunday School and Bible Class before the morning service and a Creche and 'GLEEM on Sunday' (formerly Children’s Church)  during the service.  GLEEM on SUNDAY is aimed at all children and young people up to Year 10.

Messy Church

On the third Sunday of the month we have  'Messy Church' from 3 to 5pm.  Messy Church is an all inclusive family activity that includes crafts, worship, teaching, fellowship, food and much more.  It's a fantastic opportunity to get to know other families and to worship as a family together.  


Pitstop Youth Fellowship, a meeting place for young people of secondary school age, meets on Sunday evenings at 8.00pm in the Worship Centre.

Tots R Us 

Tots R Us meets on Tuesday mornings from 10.00 -11.30.  This group is for young children and their carers and is run by Margaret Hewitt and her band of helpers.

Women's Morning Meeting

All the women of the church are invited to the informal meetings for Prayer and Bible Study held weekly on Wednesday mornings from 10.30am - 12noon.

DoE Award

On Wednesday evenings the Duke of Edinburgh Award group meets on dates indicated on their  website.  This is an open group which caters for young people in the Holywood community.  Richard  McCall (90501344) can give details of  meetings etc.

The PW meets on the 3rd Wednesday of the month at 7.30pm in the Worship Centre

Thursday  Lunch



The Thursday Lunch is held on the 4th Thursday of the month at 12.30pm in the Minor.  This gives all there the opportunity to have a hot meal with their friends and enjoy the 'Craic'

Practices are held prior to  Easter, Harvest and Christmas services on Thursday evenings from 7.30pm.

M5 Group

Every month, on the last Friday of the month, men from many of the Holywood churches (and Belfast) meet together for coffee and to hear an invited guest talk about their life and faith. The meetings start with coffee at 10.45 and finish promptly at 12 noon.

GB Explorer & Tiny Tots

On Friday afternoon from 3.30-5.00pm the Explorers and Tiny Tots ( 3-8 years) of the Girls' Brigade meet.  Rosemary Ferguson (90427497) is the Captain of the Girls' Brigade. 


Walking Group

The Walking Group made up of intrepid walkers from several Holywood churches  venture forth on the last Saturday of the month. Venues are varied taking in almost every county in NI.
