WOMEN TOGETHER
3rd Wednesday of each month 7.30pm-9.30pm

"And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit." 2 Corinthians 3: 18

Our Presbyterian Women group is called Women Together and is open to ladies of all ages.

The motto of PW is “Living for Jesus” -  women encouraging and supporting each other as they become disciples of Jesus Christ and walk in His presence each day.  This year’s theme is ‘Being Transformed’ and the meeting throughout the year follow a programme of activities connected to this this theme.

Women Together offers opportunities to chat, get to know other ladies in the congregation and make new friendships, so please consider coming along - and bring a friend!  You will be made most welcome at any of the Wednesday meetings.

MENS SCRUMDOWN
As Announced

I long to see you so that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to make you strong - that is, that you and I may be mutually encouraged by each other’s faith." Romans 1: 11-12

Occasional events are organised to provide men with opportunities for sharing fun, friendship and fellowship together.

As sport is a common interest for many men, the rugby Six Nations tournament provided an opportunity for men to watch Ireland win the 2023 championship.

In 2023, a group of men attended the annual Irish Men’s Conference at Assembly Buildings, Belfast. We are always open for new ideas, so please let us know of your suggestions.

LADIES BIBLE STUDY
 Wednesday  10.30am-12.00pm

The Ladies Bible Study group meets on a Wednesday morning to read God’s word.

The session begins with a cup of tea or coffee as everyone arrives, then after a quick chat the group turns to God’s word.  Notes are provided in advance for anyone who wants them, which enriches the discussion. The group are currently looking at different women in the Bible and how God worked out his plan and purpose through their lives at that time and in their culture, helping us to understand and know how God continues to do the same for women today.

SMALL GROUPS
Various times and locations throughout the week. Contact the Church Office for details.

Small groups of adult church members meet together regularly (usually fortnightly) for prayer, bible study and fellowship, either in homes or on the church premises.

The aim of these groups is to encourage each other in growing as disciples of Jesus Christ and in preparing us to serve Him better in our daily lives and calling.

The groups use a range of different materials and are currently (from autumn 2023) following The Biggest Story series, working through the whole bible in 104 stories.

Tuesdays 7.00pm-8.30pm (summer only)

Every Tuesday evening from June to August, whatever the weather, the summer walkers met for a stroll around Holywood.  We dodn’t venture far – just down the shore to Cultra, along the Kinnegar or around Ballymenoch Park – but it is an opportunity to enjoy the surroundings with company.

The session is completed with a cup of tea in the worship centre on the group's return.
