Childrens' Activities
At First Holywood we have a number of regular events that happen throughout the week for children and babies, from our crèche and childrens' ministry during Sunday morning worship service to our Girls Brigade and Tots R Us groups. Information on each of them can be found below along.

Girls Brigade

Our Girls Brigade Explorer Section provides girls from 2-11 with a place for fun, friendship and faith. Find out more here.
Tots R Us
Pre-Primary
Tots R Us is our weekly parents and toddlers group which meets every Tuesday from 10.00-11.30. Find out more here.
Crèche
Sundays 11.00am-12.00pm (during worship)
Children are very welcome throughout our Sunday morning service, however, if it is helpful, our crèche is available for the duration of the service.
Run by our volunteers, you are welcome to leave your children in crèche and return to the service. Alternatively, you can remain with your child in crèche. The service is live-streamed into the room and so you can follow along.
Childrens' Ministry
Sundays 11.15am-12.00pm (during worship)
Our ministry for children on a Sunday monrning takes place during the service. Children join with the congregation for the first half of the morning service for music, prayer and the birthday bucket - which is an opportunity to celebrate with all members of the congregation, no matter what age. The children then leave half way through the service to go upstairs together with bible teaching, games, worship and community.
The children return to the church service during the singing of the final hymn.
Tots R Us
Tuesdays 10.00am-11.30am
Parents and carers have the opportunity to bring their babies and toddlers to play together with an amazing variety of toys and activities while the 'grown ups' are able to relax and chat with their friends while keeping an eye on the young ones.
Girls Brigade
Tuesdays 7.00pm-9.00pm (ages 11-16)
Fridays 3.30pm-5.00pm (ages 3-10)
Girls Brigade is a Christian ministry among girls and young women. Working in local churches, GB provides a varied programme of activities for girls of all ages.
It is a great place for girls to meet friends and discover new gifts and skill.
Weekly activities include games, craft, bible teaching, drama, singing and helping others. Awards can be achieved and are awarded at company nights.
