Facilities

If you are planning a visit to First Holywood, you can find details of our facilities here

First Holywood Presbyterian Church on the Bangor Road in Holywood, at the Bangor end of the town centre, opposite the old priory. There are 3 Presbyterian churches in Holywood so if you are checking our location for a specific event, please ensure that you are looking for the correct one. Our church is set back from the road and is a dark grey stone building with a spire.

The worship centre, office and halls and offices are connected to the right-hand side of the church and are accessed from the carpark. Both the doors to the church and the Worship Centre are accessible by ramps.

The church has one main car park with dedicated disabled parking bays.

The Worship Centre was renovated in 2004 to provide a modern, functional and accessible space. The building has a platform lift from the ground floor to the upper ground floor giving access to the main hall and the minor hall and has disabled toilet facilities with handrails and emergency pull cord on the ground floor.

The church kitchen was renovated in 2022 to provide appropriate facilities to cater for up to 100, including stainless steel worktops, dishwasher, boiler facilities, cooker and oven.

There are baby changing facilities.

The main church is fitted with a T-Loop system.

Our policy regarding the use of the church by an external body can be found here.

If you have any questions regarding the facilities, please contact the Church office.
