Youth Activities
At First Holywood we have a number of regular events that happen throughout the week for young people, from Connect which takes place during our Sunday morning worship service to Young Life club that meets on a Sunday evening. Information on each of them can be found below.
Sunday Morning - Connect
Connect is our ministry for Years 8-12 which takes place during the Sunday Service. Find out more here.

Holywood Young Life runs their weekly club for those of secondary school age in First Holywood every Sunday evening. Find our more here.
D Groups

Our Junior, Senior and Brigader Sections provide a place for girls of secondary age to gather together for friendship, service and faith. Find out more here.
CONNECT
Sundays 11.15am-12.00pm (during worship)

CONNECT is our Youth Ministry which takes place during the Sunday Service.
CONNECT aims to both engage the young people in discussion about matters of faith, but to also engage them with the wider church service.
CONNECT takes place twice per month when the young people leave church at the same time as the children for their dedicated ministry. -

D Groups
Thursdays 7.00pm-8.00pm

D stands for discipleship.
Our D Groups are an opportunity for our young people to get together during the week for fellowship, to think about different aspects of the Christian faith, and to support one another as they live out their faith every day.

Young Life Club is a opportunity for young people to get together for fun, crazy games, challenges, friendship and faith

Girls Brigade
Tuesdays 7.00pm-9.00pm (ages 11-16)
Fridays 3.30pm-5.00pm (ages 3-10)
Parents and carers have the opportunity to bring their babies and toddlers to play together with an amazing variety of toys and activities while the 'grown ups' are able to relax and chat with their friends while keeping an eye on the young ones.
Girls Brigade

Fridays 3.30pm-5.00pm (ages 3-10)
Girls Brigade is a Christian ministry among girls and young women. Working in local churches, GB provides a varied programme of activities for girls of all ages.
It is a great place for girls to meet friends and discover new gifts ansd skill.
Weekly activities include games, craft, bible teaching, drama, singing and helping others. Awards can be achieved and are awarded at company nights.
